Dan Saalfrank serves as a Battalion Chief with the FDNY where he is assigned to Division 3 in Manhattan. He previously served as a Firefighter in Ladder Companies 169 and 176 in Brooklyn, as a Lieutenant in Ladder Co. 4 in Manhattan, and a Captain in Division 15 in Brooklyn. Dan is a member of the FDNY Pipes and Drums and serves as a program manager for the FDNY’s Mental Performance Initiative (MPI). He served as a Crash/Rescue Firefighter with the 111th Fighter Wing of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. Dan holds a Master of Public Administration from John Jay College in New York City.
